Alec Bobroff is the President of Archstone Business Brokers and a senior M&A advisor with more than 20 years of experience buying and selling companies. Over his career he has acquired and sold businesses as an independent sponsor, as a private equity insider, and inside large corporations making strategic acquisitions — giving sellers valuable insight into how each of these buyer groups thinks and what drives their offers. Alec has served as an executive partner at Salt Creek Private Equity and previously as President & CEO of TRAK Health, a holding company with multiple health and e-commerce businesses. At TRAK Health he led three acquisitions; one of them, Nutricity, a health and wellness e-commerce operation, was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in 2014 and 2015 before its sale in 2017. He grew another business, Healthy Feet Store, doubling sales and improving profitability more than sixfold. Earlier, Alec spent much of his career in the medical device industry, leading strategy and execution as Vice President of Strategic Global Marketing at Bard Electrophysiology and at Haemonetics, a blood-management company — setting division strategy and driving growth through acquisitions and product launches. Alec holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico, and an MBA from the University of Southern California, where he served as President of the Entrepreneur and Venture Management Association. Outside of work he enjoys time with his family, traveling, skiing, and golf.
