Mike authored numerous articles (on accountancy and other financial issues) and presented at professional seminars throughout the US. During his career, he has been an active member of the business community and has been recognized for his contributions and achievements by the Chattanooga Jaycees, the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and the Small Business Administration. Mike has also been an active UTC alumni, serving as chair of the UC Foundation. He received the UTC Outstanding Service Award in 2021.

• Mike Costello is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee graduating from Notre Dame High School, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (“UTC”) with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Accountancy degree. A Certified Public Accountant since 1979, Mike has also earned credentials in: · business valuation (Accredited Senior Appraiser & Accredited in Business Valuation), · forensic accounting (Certified in Financial Forensics) and · fraud examination (Certified Fraud Examiner). He served in the investment banking industry in addition to serving as a CPA. He earned several Financial Industry Regulatory Authority licenses, including: · General Securities Principal (Series 24), · Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63), · General Securities Representative (Series 7) and · Investment Banking Representative (Series 79).
