Sung Kim is a Senior Business Broker with Transworld Business Advisors of South & West Texas, bringing more than two decades of hands-on entrepreneurial and operational experience to business owners, investors, and acquisition-minded entrepreneurs. As a former multi-unit business owner who successfully launched, scaled, and exited multiple consumer wireless retail locations across Texas, Sung understands firsthand what it takes to build enterprise value, drive profitability, and navigate complex transactions.

Sung specializes in representing sellers who want to maximize value and structure deals that actually close. His approach goes beyond simply listing a business — he focuses on proper valuation, financial recasting, strategic positioning, and targeted buyer outreach to create competitive demand. By combining strong financial analysis with disciplined deal management, he helps clients move from initial valuation through closing with clarity, confidence, and measurable results.

On the buy-side, Sung works closely with qualified buyers to identify strong opportunities, analyze cash flow, structure financing (including SBA and seller financing scenarios), and negotiate favorable terms. His deep understanding of business operations, lending requirements, and transaction structure allows him to anticipate obstacles early and proactively solve them — protecting timelines and keeping deals on track.

His experience spans retail, automotive, transportation, service-based businesses, and franchise resale, giving him broad insight into industry-specific valuation drivers and operational risks.
